Just bought another A600. Not entirely sure why, other than I have a problem...

Should I put a furia in it or leave it stock?

It all started when I was looking for spare bits, as you never know.

I've decided to keep all my Amigas stock now for the simple reason. It was designed that way... if i want a PPC or something super powerful... I've got emulation - provides better compatibility and less problems and significant cost saving that avoids me resenting the stock machine.

Never thought that way before, sounds a good way of doing things

Though since getting native resolution working on WinUAE on my 28" 4:3 CRT TV I am contemplating using emulation completely! Lol

Best move ever; you don't have to spend oodles of money, it won't break, you don't need loads of free space, and you'll have every single Amiga model available at your finger tips

I just got Amiga running on a MiSTer and that's pretty good as well on a big TV.

I can now see why you made the switch! Currently able to run virtually all retro consoles at 240p and there is no difference when compared to original consoles!

Not sure about space saving... the CRT is a beast and heavy too! Need to find a decent cabinet to hold it now!

Very true... but at least you don't need 10+ different systems / machines / hardware as well to achieve the same thing

Lol yes... to add insult to injury one of my A500 has sufferer damage to case and internals following falling off shelf! Going to have to test it out later.

Not sure how much this will fetch now? Ideally want to raise funds for getting an arcade monitor!

It's because you love Amiga, but why didn't you buy a CD32?

I finally managed to get Alien Breed : Tower Assault for my CD32. Very happy about this!

Nice selection of games. Seems like a lot of shooters though.

What will you be using it for when you repair it?

One thing i know is that the X68000 was sometimes used as a workbench (no pun intended ) to develop CSPS-1 games.
