MUI libs not detected by MUI and wookiechat

Hi everybody, greetings from Barcelona, and MSX lovers that recently started using amiga computers aswell.

Recently I adquired an Amiga600, and expanded both fast and chip memory. Also I purchased a pcmcia ethernet card to use it with my licensed roadshow using cnet driver.
I was able to install WB3.1 (replacing the original KS rom It had).Everything was working ok until I arrived to wookiechat.
Wookiechat is the first program using MUI I've installed (both wookiechat and mui were downloaded from aminet). In fact, wookiechat installer adds several libs to mui, and one of those is betterstrings. When I go to MUI:libs/mui I can see the files there, but when I launch MUI configurator it doesn't appears on the lib list from the left, and even wookiechat is not working because it doesnt detects them on the system. Also I try to install the latest version of those libs, both using the automatic intaller or copying the files manually... and nothing.

3 years ago I did the same process on an amiga1200 and never had those problems.

Any Idea? Thank you!

Hi,
Thank you for your answers.
I will try that, but I think that I already downloaded the 68k files. I will check it tomorrow.

Thanks a lot!!!

Hi again
Finally its working. There were several issues related: Yes, the version of betterstring libs I was trying were for 020+ (but the documentation didn't say anything about it) but even installing the 68000 ones that @james posted before, MUI wasn't working properly.
So, I supose that the FS was rotten aswell and it was time to format and reinstall all again.
Using the new libs posted by @James, and refusing to use the ones that wookiechat already installs did work perfectly.
Anyway, isn't there any way to contact anybody on aminet to modfiy the doc or the package you can download here? https://aminet.net/package/comm/irc/WookieChat2.11_OS3?
Libs betterstrig, NListtree and codeset.library included on wookiechat package are for 020 but you can't read anything about it on the "readme doc". Also, the installer never asks for the cpu you're using.
Well, thanks for the answers!

You can try it by email the author (see readme) or the Aminet team ( http://wiki.aminet.net/index.php/Contact ).
