CM8833-II Flyback Transformer

I recently got hold of a near mint CM8833-II. I'd had a look inside and there wasn't a speck of dust. It's been sitting in storage for years.

Unfortunately last night I heard a small click and a very high pitched whine as the picture tube died. As far as I know this means the flyback has died.

There are quite a few compatible replacements available on ebay and elsewhere, I was wondering if there is any particular one I should buy.

I don't want to have to replace it again in a couple of years.

I dont think we have much of a choice. Items from Germany or Poland.
I just bought one from Poland for my 1084S P.
I cant imagine there are many factories producing these things now, so they are either old stock or come from same manufacturing plant.

Cheers for the reply. Ok, I'll just take my chances or toss a coin.

I got my Flyback. It had a manufacturing date of 2019.
The earth pin did not line up so i drilled a new hole in monitor PCB, it is into the earth plane so no issue.
I also changed the Horizontal Output Transistor for the sake of £2.20.
Glad to have my 1048S-P back to life.
