Hi fellow Aussie!!
I'm running OS3.9 on A1200 and one partition is 50GB ![]() First make the boot partition 500MB or smaller 'cos there's no point making it bigger & you will always be able to read it. Next, run SETPATCH QUIET in the startup-sequence so it does a reset and updates the ROM. (Don't use NOROMUPDATE) Make sure you have FastFileSystem v45.9 in your L directory. Use HDToolbox to partition the rest of the HD making sure the new fastfilesystem V45.9 is in the filesystem list.(Use CHANGE... button) Format partitions with FastFileSystem & quick format. PS - Have you installed both Boing bags? If so don't use the >> AmigaOS ROM Update << file from BB2 It's too buggy. (At least on MY '060 - use the one from BB1) Cheers Mate ![]() |
