FS-UAE Net Play: Anybody using it currently?
Also, I see wifi is not recommended because of potential lag.. this post was originally going to be a request to see if a group of us could meet up at the weekend in the IRC room and split off into groups to do some net play, but if WIFI is too laggy then I'm guessing cross-continent play might be the same?
Regardless, I'm curious how it's running for you and what games you like using it for! |

Hi,
have used Net-Play, server was the python script, hostet on the same PC (12 Core Xeon Lenovo workstation). No problems - played Alien Breed (disk images) and Lemmings (WHDLoad). Rare little problems, but no big deal.(if i remember, only one time we have an desync with no recover and musst restart) played with friends in the same country (germany) and all without WiFi. I have an broadband cable connection (32Mbit) with very low ping ratio. But have only used the 2.4.1 - the 2.5.x series dont use my joystick adapter - so i am not test it. Regards R-TEAM |

I'll organise a diversion for the family for a few hours some weekend soon. You are one hour ahead of my local time so it shouldn't be too hard to get a time that suits both of us.yesplease: so do I. Let us know if your situation changes! We can use IRC during the day to request game changes etc but to get us started, how about we pick something in advance. The only multiplayer games I have currently are Lotus Turbo Challenge or Super Skid Marks but I'm open to suggestions
