RGB to SCART option

http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/...roducts_id=226

EDIT: If it's not a TV your LCD i think only an Indivision will cut because it's the only one that's prepared to work with modern LCD/TFT

I'd go for the SCART as a cheap option, a scandoubler/VGA->DVI converter if you've got more cash and some sort of upscaler (XRGB box?) if you've money to burn.

I've an A1200 connected to a 23" LCD TV via SCART and it's fine for games, though I have a graphics card connected to the TV's VGA-in port for Workbench use.

Hi girv,

Would you consider posting a schematic or details of your Amiga to LCD TV SCART cable here for the benefit of other members, please ?

If you were to do so, It would be a 'first'.

Thanks, and have a great Christmas holiday.

When this happens, it really will be for the first time on EAB.

Thanks, girv!

Though if turns out it's all covered in sleeves which prevent you from giving us the full info, that's okay. Nobody would expect you to go to that much trouble. In that case, just let us know what you can see. (There must be a good reason why we're still in the dark about these...)

OK this is what I have:

SCART -> Amiga 23 pin

7 -> 6
11 -> 5
15 -> 4
17 -> 19
8 -> 22
16 -> 22
18 -> 17
20 -> 10

8 -> 22 is via a 1000 ohm resistor
16 -> 22 is via a 150 ohm resistor

Audio is connected to SCART pins 2 and 6.

It was bought from this company on their eBay shop:
