Is it possible to use Sonnet Libs without a voodoo card if you have a Ragnarok
PPC card?

I have a AA3000+ with a ZZ9000 and a Ragnarok PPC card and was hoping I didn't need to add a voodoo card to make the PPC work...

I can't answer that currently.
But I can say you want a Voodoo card for the faster PCI to PCI transfers.
So do it anyway, make it work.

AFAIK you need the memory on the PCI GFX board to let the whole PCI subsystem work, so you have to plug a Voodoo or a radeon GFX card along with the ragnarok.
The ZZ9000 is on the Zorro slot and its memory shouldn't be accessible by the mediator that has no DMA feature.

Only MPC107 based cards need VGA memory to start so Ragnarok should in theory start without VGA card except:

The library checks for VGA card being present
The ppc cannot reach zz9000 or anything on zorro bus.

Since we are on the topic of VGA memory - I have found out why Sonnetlibrary is not working correctly on my Amiga. I can't execute anything from VGA memory - if I do, I instantly get 8000 0004 errors. I have been able to reproduce it by just enabling VoodooMemOS and copying an executable to VGA memory - if I try to run it, I get the same issues I usually get with InitPPC.

So one mystery solved - now the other, biggest mystery is why I get the same error with two (almost 3) different systems... Right now I have tested with 3x A4000 MBs, 2x A3640, 3x PSU, 2x different VGA cards (a Voodoo and a Radeon 9250) and two different Mediators (mine is a 4000Di and I have got lent a 4000D MkI)... Has anyone else ever seen this kind of issue when accessing VGA memory on their Mediators?

I couldn't get that adapter to recognize anything in a Mediator.

Nothing shows up tried it with a Voodoo Banshee agp card no dice

If I have a Killer G3 card, MediatorPCI and a CV64, will they work together till I get a Voodoo? Sorry if already discussed anything similar like this, but the whole thread is just too looooooooong. :P

Won't work. For 3D need a voodoo, for 2D only a Radeon suffices.

There seems to be some mixup at the beginning of the video, but either way it's running really well. Especially considering that the attract demos have no precache at all, so playing the levels is probably even smoother.

What do you mean with mixup? I first started a game to turn on fps rate as it doesn't work in the demo. Then quit the have to return to demo where it continued where it left off. Me ending the game was at the start of the video.

Also, I don't think psx controller support is feasible for the WarpOS port. Just a heads-up.

And how to test Vorbis support?

Never mind, I had some issue with the youtube video where the video and audio got desynchronized. I watched it again, and now it looks fine.
Too bad about the PSX controller support, back in the day more WarpOS titles supported it than 68k. My port had no vorbis support, if you wish to add it S_OpenAudio is the function where you could put it:
