CD32 problem

I own a copy of Liberation CD32, and I've got all the proper CD32 roms, but I'm having trouble getting it to run. Let me explain:

I have two CD drives, 'F:' (DVD) and 'G:' (CDR/W).
WinUAE doesn't even recognise the CD when it's in 'F:', it just plays the CD32 intro.
It runs when it's in 'G:', but without any music. I suspect this is because my sound-card cable is connected to 'F:'.

Anyway, I created an ISO to try and solve the audio problem, and speed up the CD access. Using Daemon tools, I mounted it as 'I:' (I also have a Zip drive, 'H:'). But WinUAE didn't recognise that either.

So, does anyone have an idea why G: seems to be the only drive WinUAE can see? Any suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks.

I had the same problem, but thanks to Toni my problem was solved. I also use ISO-images and mounted my virtual drive as Z:
WinUAE didn't recognize the cd. Now, my real CD-drive is E:
I mounted my virtual drive as F: in Deamon Tools and it worked. So, WinUAE doesn't like the gaps in drive-letters. Toni is working on this 'drive-letter gap' problem.

Thanks for the info Riempie, that certainly explains a few things to me (I have my CD drive letters at the end, in case I add/remove a hard drive or network share etc.). Changing CD drive letters is easy, I'll give your suggestion a go and see if my Liberation CD works.

That's interesting - Thanks Rempie.

Trouble is, I don't have any gaps between drive letters:
My set-up is:

C: (Hard Disk)
D: (Hard Disk)
E: (Hard Disk)
F: (DVD) (Doesn't work with WinUAE)
G: (CD-R/W) (Works with WinUAE)
H: (Zip Disk)
I: (Virtual CD) (Doesn't work with WinUAE)

I'll have a go shifting things around. Maybe putting the Virtual drive in H will have some effect.

Anyway, thanks.
I just hope Toni doesn't take too long solving the problem

But you have gap between CDROM drive letters G: and I:
This stupid bug will be fixed in next release.
