The fact that there's an area on level 1-1 that I just cannot access is really busting my brain. Since it looks like you can't return to level 1 from level 2, I'm stuck trying to figure a way into the area I can't reach in 1-1 instead of continuing on.

Someone please tell me if there's a way in to the areas past the pillars and electricity beam!

I'm sure I had something similar in WinUAE but turning off all "Cycle-exact" fixed the issue.

No idea how to correct on a real Amiga though...

Edit: maybe run "KillAGA" before starting the game?

Just installed this on my A1200 but can't run it. Getting 'unable to open your tool 'BD' error? Only thing I can do is play the intro... tried rebooting.

I installed the 1.2 version of the game (off real floppies) to my Games: (DH2) partition. I have WB 3.1.4.1 installed and a Blizzard 030 card with 64MB Fast RAM.

Hoping this is an easy fix as I was really looking forward to playing it!

Seems you only have BD icon and not the file itself?

How is a game like this coded are they just 128x128 tiles and then do a perspective routine to place them on walls?

Don't know how that could happen given I used the games own HD intaller program to install the game... but I will check that when I get home.

Checked and there is definitely a BD file and .info. Deleted the game and re-installed it and error is still there.

Here's a picture of my screen. Shows the error, the installed game and a shell window with directory listing showing what's in the directory.

Is there a way to run the game in PAL Mode ?

Nothing about that in the Manual.

Any ideas ?

To get the game to run from hd after install you need to copy over the BD icon from the first disk. Weird but that works.
Just copy over the icon in your installdir.

Nothing about it in the manual. You'd have to ask timeslip1974 about whether it's possible or not.

PS: You see, My monitor does an "Auto adjust" when switching from PAL to NTSC or Vice versa. Very annoying. Thats why i use 100% PAL on my PAL Amiga

Im afriad not, even though Im from the UK and in a Pal region i was asked to do it as NTSC from the publisher

That is strange. A NTSC / PAL Tooltype would have been neat

So, i have to use the WHDLoad version to force it into PAL.
