You can find a review here: http://retrogaming.hazard-city.de/
I haven't used one but the ebay listing suggests it will take in 50hz and output that too which is good news for PAL devices. |

Looks promising. From the test they found that it works well with 240p sources (most Amiga games) and gives a good picture. The LKV362 even has 1080p HDMI output instead of 720p, which might give slightly better quality if used on a 1080p display.
Edit: They don't say anything regarding delay though, and since the ebay ad says 'Audio delay time is 112ms for 48kHz sampling rate' I'm hoping that's not the latency through the device or it will be useless for gaming. Edit 2: I thought it looked so interesting that I just ordered one LKV362. Last edited by demolition; 13 March 2013 at 23:47. |

Oh well, now I ordered it, and it's already been shipped . I'll provide some feedback once I receive it.

I still haven't received the item, but I hope to get it next week. For customs reasons I had it shipped to a friend's address in US, and it should have just been carried back to DK. This means no customs fees or taxes at all. Otherwise it would have been too expensive.
Edit: Looks like this will take a while since he forgot to bring it back to me from the US, so it's still at his place over there. Looks like I might not get it until the end of summer, but that's what happens sometimes. Last edited by demolition; 06 April 2013 at 21:47. |

And now it has arrived, only about 4 months late, but better late than never.
Well, unfortunately it doesn't seem to work at all. I can get the picture from the converter on the TV and switch between 720p/1080p, but when I turn on the Amiga it just shows a black screen. Not sure if it is the adapter or my SCART RGB cable (which is working fine straight to the TV). I'm hoping I can get it to work with another cable since it should work great with RGB and 240p modes. |

IIRC pin 16 on SCART should provide some voltage so the monitor/tv (or your device probably) know the video is RGB not composite

Apparently my cable doesn't have a resistor on this pin, so pin 16 has 5V on it which is outside the 1-3V spec. I should probably modify it to get within the spec.
