Exclamation Game for WM2003/2005 to come with Amiga Sprites (UPDATED)

I am currently working on a title based on own sprites and sprites from "Land of Genesis" - a game by Maurizio Gemelli. Together with Maurizio's help on sprites, a space-shoot'em up for WindowsMobile devices (primary Smartphones) will be produced.

The release date is unknown so far. It will be published/sold via Handango.com for about 4,99 Euros (Updates included). The whole game will have 16 Bit sound, XM music and high quality graphics.

More to come...

Regards
Andreas

So far, the engine is running showing an interactive animated player's ship, scrolling background, sounds and one "demo" enemy

Hehe, doesn't matter - I love Moonstone too!

Regarding my game: currently "on Ice" because the graphics artist I tried to work with gave me those 5 year old graphics he already used in a game and wanted too much for it... (long story)

So I am looking for a skilled graphics artist - if interested, PM me (or ICQ, MSN)

For the interested ones:
I've already got a demo of the engine online (but with "stolen sprites" *grin*)... http://www.starfishdesign.at/_pub/SpaceInsanityWIN.zip (it's the Win32 compiled exe of the Smartphone executable, 176x220 pixels fullscreen)

Regards
Andreas

RareByte (www.rarebyte.com) from Austria will pixel the ingame graphics and levelmaps, the intrographics will be generated in 3D by a german artist. The music will be from Bjorn Lynne *yeah* will be streamed as .OGG from the game's datafile.

The interested reader can find a screenshot of the basic 3-layer-parallax engine with some sprites of Xenon 2000 (I will have to wait for own sprites)

A small update on the project:

It has been "on ice" for several months now because of several reasons (new job, strange behaviour of old graphic-team), but now restarted with new concept and new graphican. A guy - responsible for some great (!) C64 and Amiga titles.

So I look forward getting pretty good stuff for the game!

Stay tuned!
