Hurricane, WV ehh?
You weren't part of Bare Bones software, were you? I grew up down the road in Huntington and later in Barboursville. |

Bare Bones? The BBEdit guys? No, I never worked for them. I have used a bunch of their software and used to recommend it often when I worked for Apple retail.
I'm glad to meet another (former) West Virginian! I lived out of state for most of my adult life but have returned in the past couple years, and I really like living here. |

There was a store in Hurricane named Bare Bones software. They sold a wide variety of computer software back in the 90s. I remember buying cd32 stuff from them. I think they went under around 97 or so. Several of their guys were hardcore Amiga guys. |

You asked on the Marble Madness episode if anyone knows which other coin-op games ran on Amiga hardware. Aside from the game that sparked the debate (Mad Dog McCree), the ones I can think of are...
Gallagher's Gallery Mad Dog II: The Lost Gold Space Pirates Who Shot Johnny Rock I'm really enjoying the show by the way. Your laid back and under-produced style is so refreshing. When the content is so substantial you don't need dozens of randomly inserted 'funny' clips to pad it out. |

Thanks dreamkatcha! I have the same feelings you do about "funny" clips in podcasts. I appreciate the list of coin-ops!

W00t! Another amiga podcast, YES! I will definitely check it out and follow if interesting
Btw, beware of episode burnout by churning out episodes too fast. Just a tip (for my own good of course, so more content will follow) Last edited by TCD; 12 December 2015 at 08:26. Reason: Back-to-back posts merged. |

Zool; what a tedious, mean-spirited game. You're punished with every step you take and it runs so uncontrollably fast, every one of them is a miss-step. I felt dizzy just watching your YouTube play-through, especially the part where the protagonist (definitely not an ant) splits in two like a bleary-eyed after-image. Could someone pass me a sick bag?
