View test patterns on Amiga 1000

Hi
I cant find a way to display full screen images on Amiga 1000. I need to do this for troubleshooting noisy video.

Can anyone give me a tip on how to do this? It seems simple enough, but I have experimentet quite a lot in winuae, without finding a solution.

Have you tried http://aminet.net/package/docs/hard/TestCard yet?

The disk for the 2320 also includes some simple test patterns. I think it will work fine on the 1000.

If you’re using the composite output, I believe it has always been really bad, at least on PAL.

It's not just PAL. NTSC is just as bad on the A600 and A1200. The A1000 came with an external modulator for its DIN round RGB port (depending on which edition of the A1000).

Thanks for the tips, I’ll try them tonight.

The issue is noise on the analog rgb output (scart), which came after recap (both mother board and power supply). I have checked all capacitors (values and solder joints and actual connection to nets) , with no faults found. So now I’m going to start measuring the whole video chain with oscilloscope. Which is why I need to set the whole screen to black, for example.

I could get both suggestions working, but in this case, it seems like the purity test pattern from testcard will work for me.
