Perihelion WHDLoad installed - Page 2

Ok, I succeeded in buying Perihelion original game big box.
Overall nearly mint condition.
But there were some access problems with disk 3.
First; Is there any way to do backups from the original disks,
without Kryoflux etc ..?!

Second; It appears that the original game doens' t accept
a save disk created by the cracked version .
I didn' t get the WHDload version to accept that, either..
Could anyone confirm this ?

Oh, now the beautiful death sequence does work..

WHDload version of Perihelion does accept a physical save floppy disk.
You must enter "CUSTOM1=1" as tooltypes;
and start the game with your game save floppy inserted.
As I wrote earlier; it seems that disk must be formatted
with original Perihelion running..
I think the Perihelion WHDload game install would be
more complete; if you could make a game save disk
( real floppy) , too .. (?!?) haven't tested that, yet .
