Does anyone know something about Bitworld
being offline?

I cannot work on Demobase Amiga !

Yeah, server problem - needs to be restored. If you go to http://bitworld.bitfellas.org again, there's a message there.

Damn! Why is it the sites that I rely on the most, seem to be infected with the catastrophic failure syndrome

Looks like my abbreviations hunt is now on hold until they're up and running again. I kind of use them together with Pouet for finding the proof etc.

exotica server died sometime between 10pm friday and 2am last saturday. a new machine was purchased on Saturday. i then uploaded 37gb from my home connection and sites started to appear back online around Sunday. Because the server died just before the daily backup, contributions to any hosted sites on the friday would have been lost (or at least until i get the old server back and check the hd). Nothing terrible though, apart from me losing en entire weekend sorting it all out.
