Prince Of Persia Save Option !?!?

This is new for me.

In the crack intro of Prince Of Persia i read that game needs a blank disk to save game

But has this game a save option ?

How does it work ?

The goal of the game wasn't finish it in an hour,
from beginning each time ?
(in some platform this is bad but for Prince Of Persia this is logical)

I'm waiting for answers

Bye bye, Francesco

I can't remember a "Save" option in the original, unmodified game. But the WHDLoad installed version has one, that's for sure.

Yes, I think Ctrl-S to save, Ctrl-L to load. Don't think I ever got it to work on the Angels cracked version I had though...

Save option in Prince of Persia? What are you talking about? I´ve never heard of it before. It is a joke, isn´t it?

No joke SensibleFan

It even gets a mention in this crack, though it doesn't tell you what the keys are:

... Prince of Persia (1990)(Broderbund)[cr Angels][f Eurosoft][t +3 FSN].adf

Huh. I don´t know a single person in Czech Republic who knows about this. Maybe it´s the reason why it´s so popular, by PC gamers it was played over and over, memorized every single screen etc. But I thik it´s better don´t use save option, Prince is such a great game. And what a beautiful body he has!

In fact the save option only save the current level you are at and your time left (CPC memories but I suppose it is the same for the Amiga version).

Therefore, when you load the saved game you start at the beginning of level you where in when you saved.
It is quite useful to try and spend the less time in a level- i.e. when you enter the level you save, you play and die a few times until you learn it and then reload and try to get to the next level quickly -.

I think it is wise an option for people playing the whole game for the first time.
Then, once you know a bit of everything, you can try and finish it without ever saving.
