I was there, nice demos, but still it needs more Amiga users there! At Bearkpoints people used to bring their Amigas quite a lot, but at Revision there were not more them 5.

WOW! Loved these. Took me back to my first bedsit (w-a-a-a-y back in the 80s) when I used to stay up all night watching demos and reading the messages. Obviously things have moved on, but it's nice to see that demoscenes are still going.

Nice...
I would like to see some new demos for Amiga that use stock AGA spec, rather than top-end accelerated ------------- More videos of AGA demos from Revision 2011 3rd - [ Show youtube player ] 4th - [ Show youtube player ] 5th - [ Show youtube player ] Last edited by Djay; 23 May 2011 at 22:03. |

I think people need to release these on BBS systems instead of the internet...

Yeah I really liked the music in 'Shake Off The Dust', it looks like they've started to allow the use of AHI (third party sound hw) which I think is a good thing. More CPU left for GFX + it sounds a whole lot better

I prefer a link to play those directly on a real Amiga instead a lame Utoob link.
Real thing FTW! |

Umm, the sound is playing through Paula, the AHI-support is just an added bonus (and doesn't afaik use any hardware-decoding as the music in adpcm-format)

Very impressive code and graphics in some of these, but like most Amiga demos of the last 10 years or so, music is incredibly slow and boring. I miss the fast, techno tunes from the 90's, they made the demos much more enjoyable for me.
