Amiberry PAL output

Hi, im using Amigberry (version: beta 2021-01-23, coming with PiMiga 1.5) on a Rapi400 emulating an Amiga 500. (Maybe i should mention that the Raspi is running 1920*1280@60Hz because there is no selection for 50Hz)

Im trying to do some simple assembly coding, for example displaying 2 horizontal bars. As far as i know the PAL display should have 312 horizontal lines, but to me it seems that the display has about 260 lines...

If i run the same code on a Windows PC with WinUAE it works fine.

Could it be that Amiberry is outputting in NTSC? The checkbox for NTSC is unchecked - it does not even make a difference if i check it.

Could anyone tell me where to look at?

Hi Heli1978

I do all my AMIGA coding these days directly on Amibian. You have to ensure your display settings are configured correctly. For example, I have my Width set at 640 and my Height at 262. If you go over that height, you'll most likely find stuff will be missing on other peoples setups.

The above settings work correctly for Med-res and Low-res output and gives a full screen display on a 4:3 ratio (...or similar type) display.

If the option to use NTSC is disabled, then it's using PAL.
However, check the screen Width/Height values there. They are configurable and could be set to something lower than you expect, in which case the extra lines are cut-off. Works great for some games which just had black borders around, but maybe not in your case
