Great release
But one little thing, pages like #12 are quite unreadable using Apdf on Amiga here .... maybe just choose another font in future issues |

I haven't actually read any articles yet, so I can't comment on the contents. 'Flipping' through the pages, I noticed something not-so-perfect, though. See the attached picture. This charset error occurs all through the issue. Not in most texts, but for example in the 'big quotes' within an article. Could it be that some fonts weren't properly embedded into the PDF?

In a word, fantastic. It's done well, and obviously a lot of effort was put into it. However, I do have some (minor) gripes. Nothing major.
- I saw 3 or 4 spelling mistakes/grammatical errors in the pages that I read (90% or so ) - The binary on the Team 17 pages seem out of place, in terms of page layout. Perhaps it's just me though. - Again about the binary....it all seems to be backwards 17 should be 00010001. 2 should be 00000010, etc. At least, that's how I (and everyone else I know) are used to - There's no back page. I know you have a page called the "Back Page" but it seems like the sort of page you'd see on the inside back cover. In my opinion, it an outer back page would have been a welcome addition. Perhaps another ad? See. Nothing to cry about. There may have been others, but in the same way, wouldn't have been important. And for whomever is updating the APoV site, perhaps a CRC/MD5 of the files (issue, maps, etc) for each issue, as shown on the mirror? Seeing that it's a ~20mb download and all. Looking forward to the next issue. |

Re-reading my previous post, I shouldn't have been so quick to comment on the grammar of APoV
Anyway, APoV seems to have taken the form of a gaming magazine. Am I correct in assuming you'll have no technical articles? |
