Synthia music program

Does anyone have Synthia? I used to have it, but it has long ago gone bad. I found Synthia Pro, but it wants a password...

I bought Synthia (yes, actually paid $20!) a few years ago thinking I could make nice synthesized sounds and found out it was a pile of crap. I'll upload it to the Zone. (..as long as nobody thinks it's still "commercial")

You should check out FMsynth:

It's my favourite synth program and you can play sounds on keyboard like piano, but unfortunately there's no way to register. (anybody have a key for this???)

Thank you! I will check out FMSynth as well. Synthia was good for playing around, but you are right in that it was very difficult to produce quality results. I like it for illustrating additive and subtractive synthesis.

OK, it's in the Zone. I had to dig under 15 boxes - it was at the bottom of my storage closet in the "crap programs box".

nope, pack em to 1 file, but oka

too bad it isnt a *.adf file..i cant load it to my winuae emulator. i dont have the awesome amiga 500 anymore

i really want the pro version IF this isnt it?

Well i managed to save synthia to floppy, (saved it to an emulated empty amigafloppy) but it says please insert synthia in any drive, i click ok but it dosnt help..

i even tried to start it from amiga emulated hd...

I've uploaded my copy (dumped of originals) into the Zone. They are dms disk images.

Amazingly, a few years after CBM/Amiga died, I was able to contact The Other Guys and bought an upgrade to the Pro version. It proved once again I have no musical talent whatsoever.

I believe it did need a serial number. When I finally locate it, I'll post a note.
