Greaseweazle v4 on WinUAE

Greaseweazle v4 on WinUAE

I have everything set up fine, but when selecting the A500 configuration with workbench 1.3, it can't read the floppy, the insert 1.3 screen appears but does nothing else.

I have tried every version I can find..

A500+ configuration using wb v2 works fine, reads and boots from the physical disk without fault.

I am using the latest software/drivers available

anyone have any ideas?

Wrong floppy. Kick1.3 only uses OFS, not FFS

What version of WinUAE and the drivers you are using - link to where you downloaded them.

What is you Greaseweazle setup and what floppy drive you are using with it?

Does the Greasweazle work as a normal standalone Greaseweazle setup - i.e you can read and write to floppy disks?

Greaseweazle v1.12 software from https://github.com/keirf/Greaseweazle

GreaseweazleGUI v2.112 from https://desertsagesolutions.com/Greaseweazlegui/

Mitsumi 3.5" (D353M3) floppy with twisted ribbon cable and no changes to the stock configuration.

Reads/Writes/formats work flawlessly

WinUAE64 v. 4.10.1.0 https://www.winuae.net/download/

FloppyBridge_x64.dll v.1.4 from https://amiga.robsmithdev.co.uk/winuae

Disk images came from AmigaForever 10, (I own a lifetime license.)

Are there OFS .adf images available for download anywhere?
And why don't images such as Workbench 1.3 34.20 1988 Commodore US A500-A2000 adf's work when written to physical media?

@whyme968574

And you configured the WinUAE FloppyBridge module to work with Greaseweazle?

You need to configure the emulated DF0 drive to use FloppyBridge. As per [ Show youtube player ]

Smile Greaseweazle v4 on WinUAE

Hmm, It's a mystery to me, I removed the original emulated floppy bridge drive that was created, and replaced it with a new one with the exact same settings and now it's working, the odd thing is that before, the A500+ under 2.0 worked, just not the 1.3, but now with the file replaced everything works as expected.

If all else fails try right clicking on WinUAE and running as Administrator and see if that enables disk writing.

Write access

Running as WinUAE with Admin privilages doesn't change anything, and I know the GW is set up properly because it writes disks through an administrator command prompt just fine.
