WANTED: Catweasel MK3
Hey Yo!
I am interested in purchasing a Catweasel MK3 for my Amiga 1200. If anyone has this product then please either email me or PM me here - or let me know some way or another. I also have a Prelude A1200 if anyone is interested in a part exchange. Many thanks in advanced. Regards Email: spudmanno5@yahoo.co.uk |

A1200 Clockport ? thats MKII not III.
MKIII/3 was a dual PCI/Zorro flipper card.. Bottom was PCI, TOP of the card was a ZORRO, just flip the card over. Last edited by whiteb; 30 April 2006 at 05:08. |

No, the mkIII was also called "flipper" because it was usable via pci or changing the side, via the a1200 internal clock-port. It sold quickly and individual computers were unable to continue making more cards because they run-out of spare chips, so they started the mkIV without the need of those chips, implementing them on an fpga.

CU_Amga - I've got a boxed Catweasel MK3 I'm not using, what offer? I'm guessing that postage to Europe would be around 13 EUROs from Australia.

Many thanks for the reply. I have had some offers that i am considering. One on ebay going for 80eur and i have had an email offer going for £40, but that has no cable for the A1200 clockport, and i don't think it has a SID chip. Anyone know where i could get this cable from (or if anyone has any spare)? Regards, |

CU_Amiga:
The cable is available from AmigaKit. If you just want the floppy functionality, you might want to consider getting the MK2 "anniversary edition" which is available since a few months (new, with warranty!) If you want to use the SID functionality, the MK3 is the way to go. Jens Schönfeld |
