Children of Mana on the DS. Its a boring piece of shit, but I'm going to finish it anyway. Don't ask me why.

I have just completed resident evil 5 ps3 and now im on far cry 2 which i have bought for £6 on ebay and is excellent.
all my games which i have bought on ebay i have resold them all at a loss of just £3 to £5 on average so it not costing me much more than in the mid 1980's when i bought the cheapest games for £1.99.

Just finished Silent Hill 2 - it was a great game - very tragic story (boo-hoo) (In Water Ending)

Going to take a break from Silent Hill games for the minute - I have others in the series to play but i feel like I'm living there at the moment...

Silent Hill 2 is a brilliant game. I think you've played the best one in the series now.

Dropped Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods. Great bugs cause you can't end some key quests. This game is more bugged than an open garden, IMHO.

No don't stop! Play Silent Hill 2 again with the new game+ feature and get the dog ending. Really, it is worth it.

Completed... a bit long as the first chapter. Nice even if some locations are repetitive, and has three endings as the first chapter (good, evil, neutral). Btw, it's nice and it worths a play.

Going through Mass Effect 2 at the moment. Excellent game and the graphics are an improvement over the original... but it does have a few random glitches/bugs

Been playing Thrustburst on Windows, freeware.

It's super stylized. It feels a lot like an Amiga game. The level of perfection of the whole thing, the style of the graphics, the mood of it, the attention to detail in the little graphical touches and animations - breathtaking.

Have you had the feeling that the campaign through its "board game" style has quite a Defender of the Crown feeling?

Conquering territories, having a campaign army, being able to leave reserve troops etc...

Enough Children of Mana - the game is truly a turd. Too bad because Seiken Densetsu 2 & 3 were some of my favorite snes games...

Now I'm playing ID Software's Orcs & Elves (nds version), and I must say it is quite addictive, in a Wolfenstein 3D kind of way. Run around, beat up monsters and bosses, collect loot and find secrets. Classic.

I'm still stuck into Mass Effect 2... It's becoming addictive and i use my character from Mass Effect 1

I doubt this game had much in the way of testing before it's release as some of the glitches/bugs are either laughable, horrendous, stupid or just plain annoying

Still a great game though...

As a kid this was one of my all time fav's on the miggy. About to have a session with it tonight. Is it worth playing the mame version over the miggy edition?

Cheers

Personally I found the mame version a little harder than the miggy version, but I guess all arcade games are made to be just a little too difficult - otherwise there is no need to keep inserting coins

Tropico 3, it was (maybe still is) on sale via Steam. Sim City style game with a Cuba flavour. Definitely enjoying it.
