Marcuz that sounds cool, gonna download it :-)
as you know TOEE is my fave RPG and this claims similarity with it (I've read heaps about the OGL, over years, I designed my own world with it. Wizards have ceased it for 4th Edition, though) |

started Mass Effect 2. After 1 hour into it, the game is already positively great, and very very much better than Dragons Age, but i miss the pad! i'll have to reinstall xpadder...

Zelda: Spirit Tracks (DS).
Fun game overall as per usual, but in no way does it even come close to any of its predecessors. The train part of it is just too boring! I don't know where the designers went wrong, the game doesn't even have any secret holes in the ground, no treasures you can knock out of trees, no secret walls you can blow up... its just a bare canvas where they drew all the lines, but put only half the colors into it. Yet I keep playing it because I want to see the next dungeon and boss, so its not a complete failure imo. |

Anyone tried Venetica? I'm playing it on PC, it's nice... I think it's made by the same guys of the Gothic series, it's very similar (but more easy).

Haven't been playing since about three weeks (since completing the 'so-so' Dragons Age) but I might give Mass Effect 2 a shot the coming weekend

I think this is a problem with most games nowadays. They're oftenly huge and offer many hours of gameplay but they became some damn easy. Eventhough it's completely understandable that games 'way back' needed to be more difficult, and eventhough most games nowadays do have difficulty sliders, it still make nowaday games, with all their fancy, storylines and whatnot somehow dull, devoid of the need to really put in effort and exercise ![]() |

was in the mood for an action RPG, so I'm playing the joyous Fable: the Lost Chapters again. Sure the game is a little limited in what you can do, but I find it such a joy to run through the world and beat the carp out of enemies, while flirting with every woman in sight. Plus it has a very decent story with some tiny gruesome twists.
Unfortunately it is not such a fun experience to play as a bad character, otherwise I would have surely done that again also ![]() |
