Why are you directing that comment at me sandruzzo?

Richard is the one you need to ask; and making some text / explanation only viewable if you subscribe.

Well here is the reason it is so important to test on a real Amiga.

If it was released and sold for money, then didn't work or ran poorly on a real machine.. Well then there would be an uproar!

It seems more colourful than the previous one somehow.
The game changes all the time, since its in development ;-)
The palette though should be the same like in the last two or three videos; but the video output device did change, that may explain your impression.

You think it is immoral to kindly ask people to support creators for their art or editorial content? Please explain.

I am pretty confident there would be an uproar too, even if the game is for free. That´s how modern society ticks. There are always people who expect everything but are not willing to spend anything.

But no worries. First of all, the I will show the game at various community events this year (e.g. workbench 2020 if all works well), which is a great opportunity for people to play the game and provide feedback about what they like / not like, also see the game on several machines. Plus, I may be releasing some kind of engine test version to the public. Anyway, the game will be tested on a variety of machines, including CD32, A1200 and A4000 equipped with a range of accelerators by members of the community. Even Vampire.

Don't get me wrong here. Like I said many times, I fully respect this projects, and who works on it Deserve to be paid. What I dislike is this patreon stuff that is popping up everywhere.

Can totally relate to that. Being a patron is not for everyone. If you don´t like the monthly approach of Patreon, ignore it or use other means of supporting creators. Most artists offer alternative ways of supporting them.

If this is the case, and as you are an artist yourself: May I suggest to spend a few moments and study the Patreon main website. The idea behind the whole thing can be rooted back to the stoneold tradition of Patronage. It´s a great concept of society enabling writers, painters (like Kevin Saunders) or even coders and gamedesigners creating wonderful stuff, which society then can enjoy.

Gladly, as that's not what I'm getting at. I firmly believe artists should be paid and supported, what I don't agree with is how some go about it.. Smoke and mirrors!

I think it is immoral to post a video, then post to effectively say "here is the document to support the video, go read it", but to do so you have to pay me, without actually saying that!

You could and should have just posted the video and left it there, and included all info regarding your patreon on the YouTube video description, especially on a forum where you are called out about a game anyway, and there is a little heat surrounding the game.

I assume this is aimed at me... If so, free donations are fine, just don't ask for them in the main thread!

Same as I have no issues anyone putting their patereon details in their signature for example. I think asking/begging/hinting for them is a little distasteful..

Maybe that is just me!

It's not just you BippyM; I feel the same way.

Creating a post in a forum, then saying "You should read this", but the only way to do so is by subscribing to Paetron is a bit off in my books.

I mean, Richard is getting free advertising on EAB.

Dave Rowland from the UK-based South West Amiga Group recently asked if I wanted to show RESHOOT PROXIMA 3 at the "Workbench 2020" community event today. Unfortunately, I can´t make it there personally. But I will participate in a skype chat today at 2:30 pm UTC / 15:30 Uhr german time; and also put up a new gameplay video. Might be a nice substitute. Thank you very much. Posting is not much different to what I contribute to the community since many years though :-)

I don't want to start everything off again; but when Rochabian said "Really better method of teasing this time." he means that it's good that you've now provided all information as opposed to leaving it behind some Patreon pay wall:

...but on the other hand; why would you restrict this information to only Patreon users; if you did, all non-subscribers wouldn't see this free promotional opportunity.

Nothing noble being done here in my opinion, just clever marketing...
