New Version: 0.73

New features:
  • HTTP streaming - either by opening a playlist or by using the "Open URL" popup menu item. Also remembers the last opened URL.
  • .pls Playlist support

Bug fixes:
  • Crashed if trying to play a file which didn't existed (in a playlist for example)
  • Crashed if input file was very small (<64 bytes)
  • Current subsong wasn't initialized in some cases
  • Gzipped modules always reported unknown song length
  • Packed modules always reported unknown song length
  • Fixed issues with deleting items in playlist
  • Clearing the playlist will not stop the current sound

Known issues:
  • Pausing a HTTP stream for too long will lose the connection

Download Multiplayer 0.73 here

Quite nice program but i'm still waiting for proper playing of exotic music formats. Maybe it's time to add support these? You have already players for them together with deliplayer and on aminet.

If you read through the whole thread you'll see there was a very lively discussion about that before bLAZER tries his best to integrate more formats and hopefully he will find a way to emulate a Amiga core to use the players from Deliplayer

wut? 5.1 is old already, it's the 7.1 that counts... but let's add 5.1 first

Still use two speaker and a subwoofer (that's 2.1 right? ). They never failed me But a nice surround setup would be nice for newer games and movies
Btw : Can't you setup a profile with your soundcart software that allows to redirect the output to all speakers?

You mean in Viśta or Multiplayer?
Cause Viśta does it by itself, everywhere.
As long it's at least stereo, everything get's filled into the other speakers, everything is played in 5.1 - flash, movies, java, games... everything.

Except, Multiplayer, lol :/

Okay that's bad Maybe there is a 'force stereo' in the init of the FMod system. Hope bLAZER will fix this for you mate

About the 5.1, I asked the question at the FMOD forum, but you don't always get an answer... so I'll bump the thread until I do...

And of course I would love to have more exotic formats, but it's not that easy to implement ya know. If someone could point me to a program with source code for windows (not based on cygwin etc.) that can play some exotic formats, that would help.

I could set up some simple programs with FMod for Shoon and check if we can find what is causing the problem and if there is a workaround. Would that be okay for you Shoon and bLAZER?

Haynor: Yeah, and that doesn't help very much, since that's just amiga assembler code...

TheCyberDruid: sure, do it! Since I don't have a 5.1 system it's not that easy to test for me. And I couldn't find any program that visually shows 5.1.
