Just had my first go with this! I really love the game so far! Can't believe the great it looks and feels!

Is there a quit option mid game? I couldn't find a key to get out of the game. I had to let myself get killed before going back to the option screen and then selecting quit game there.

I am using the HD install not the WHD load version. Mind you I'll probably put the WHD load version on there as well.

Thanks for the kind responses about the game - much appreciated.

I've updated the game to version 3.4 which has various fixes

Any problems, let me know.

Thanks for the new version, unfortunately I've just tried it and I'm still unable to play with the whdload version (the game gives me an error as soon as I start it).
And, in addition, I haven't been able to start a new game with the HD version as well while previous version did work. The game simply freezed during the intro sequence.

I get the same using the WHD load version. Errors right after the whdload splash screen then goes back to workbench.

My system is A1200 Classic WB FULL 3.1 with TF1260@50mhz

HD version works well though. Had once crash earlier but I don't think it will be a regular thing.

060 needs NOVBRMOVE for game to work.

Here WHDLoad version (previous and new 3.4) works both on Blizzard 1260 and BlizzardPPC 240/060 with NOVBRMOVE tooltype.
HD version works without any degrader.

Yesterday played it successfully on WinUAE (040/ Jit On), MiST FPGA, 1200/030 and Apollo V4SA, no bug found.

Well done mcgeezer !

I'm using a Blizzard PPC 060/66MHz, my OS is 3.1.4

I did try adding NOVBRMOVE with the previous (3.2) version of the game and nothing changed, I'll try it later with this new version.

The HD version simply froze at the first attempt during the intro and I haven't tried yet a second time. The only thing I could do was to reset the computer so I decided to power it off it.

You have to add it on tooltypes of the icon.

With NOVBRMOVE the game didn't crash immediately but it crashed as soon as I arrived to the first boss.
This is the error message I got:

Well, currently I'm just playing the game as WHDL. Version on my A1200/40/40 and it looks like that the game only works with NOMMU option on my setup without any problems. Otherwise it crashes at various points with an error. I don't know if this is a 040 CPU problem or maybe something else... It would be nice if the problem could be solved.

I made some icons for the game (see below) if anyone likes it feel free to use it.
I love your icons, but when I try use one for the HD install version it doesn't work for me. I'm shit at this kind of thing btw. So what I was doing was copying one of the icons, then renaming it to "devilstemple.exe.info".

So the icon then takes on the form of the .exe but when I try run it is give s me an error. I even changed the tool type to open with iconx as opposed to WHD load.

Can you help me? Or am I beyond saving

Great Icons BTW.

If it's crashing intermittently then there's something else going on, can you state exactly what hardware you have please?

As a note to Aca500+ users:

The game still doesn't start from a ClassicWB Shell (OS and Kick3.1), where it freezes and shows a bright blue screen.

But the new version (native hdd) can be started fine from an early cli window (omit startup-sequence).
At least on my machine.

Sure:
Os 3.1.4 on A1200 Rev 1a with Blizzard PPC603e@200Mhz/1260@66MHz (68060 rev.5) Mediator PCI 1200 TX Black Board with ATI Radeon 9250, Sound Blaster, Spider USB and PCI ethernet card. I also have one of those buffered IDE adapters got from amigakit, a 4xide.
Thanks in advance for your help.

UPDATE:
I forgot to say that I'm using kickstart 3.1.4 with relokick

Confirm, on Blizzard 1260 and Blizzard PPC/060 WHDLoad version exit with "...Exp mem" error window, despite I used NOVBRMOVE in tooltypes icon. The game exit while playing.

Both machine Kick 3.1, AmigaOS 3.9 BB4.

Tested on 3.4 version of game with included slave and new from CFou.

Added tooltype NoVBRMove, this allowed me to get WHD load version working.
