My understanding is that it's undergoing a change of 'benifactor'...
...soon-ish to be back on course.

hello,

have you some news about the svideo adapter ????

I will have suddenly an urgent need of the hardware ;-).

soon a SAM :-) and must put the sam video on the second input of my monitor (actually the SF/FF PAL A1200 video signal).

I will use again the PCI PCTV for the PAL on my old A1200 and will have an urgent need of a good PAL Svideo signal.

Hello,

It's not really, really urgent (just lost PAL when SAM will be used here and with the adapter, just need to found one keyboard on 2 computers solution) but zethro will soon have a first anniversary amiga Svideo Adapters project ;-) and I'm on the verry top of the zethro adapter list also.

The best for me is external becaue I can't solder something. Thanks for the offer or make some ZetrO project yourself maybe ???

Do you make a ps2 adapter for using a PS2 keyboard on 2 amiga ???? If ZetrO adapter made, just need to split the keyboard).

@mrodfr,

I would advise taking up DJBase on his kind offer as I have not received any Handover pack from Zetro yet,

When it does all arrive, the designs will need to be assesed & tested which all adds up to further delays I'm afraid.

Sorry I could not be more helpful or uplifting

Thanks for answering, It's impossible for me to soldered something on the amiga CM.

I prefer the all in one zetro external hardware (just plug'n'play).

Thanks for djbase for the offer. Why not djbase make same zetro Hardware (the main goal is to help zetro lack of free time) ???

I will wait zetrO harware. Maybe Santa Claus put the hardware on my shoes newt christmas ;-)

Please put me down for:
"Narmi External Basic" £12.50 PAL ONLY

Is the project still alive, even?

Also, how good will s-video look in comparision to a 1084S monitor?

I would say SVideo is about 90% compare to RGB-Video.

S-Video out board for Amiga

S-Video out board for Amiga
I have noticed a delay in the project for a S-Video out board for the Amiga
Go here http://cgi.ebay.com/Arcade-RGB-CGA-to-TV-and-Video-Composite-converter-NEW_W0QQitemZ310103530718QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item310103530718&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A3%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318
I have used this board with great success, it does PAL or NTSC with a flick of a switch
Go here for manual

@Vars191

I think you will find (and alexh correct me if I am wrong) that the item you have here is only 18bit, (okay for OCS / ECS and HAM4? but crap for AGA)

you will notice a lot of color aproximations and loss to larger areas when using this device on an A1200 or AGA equipped machine, ones smooth graidents will be blocky and rough.

what Amiga are you using this board with?

No it is not a 12 bit device and has been used with 1200 and a perfect picture on AGA picture, it is basically like you were doing but a commercial version
