So does CS 2 have Quick Brush 4000 or do you have to install CS1 and Quick Brush then CS 2?

again long story, here is the solutions: create a folder called "brushes" and copy the content of QB4000 disk 1-7 in it. just single files on all those disks. crashdisk (tosec) told me, disk#3 has a faulty imagefile - this would stop the normal installer - i think. so do it manualy edit: and place the new folder either in CS1 or/and CS2 install directory and navigate to it, if you load a brush. edit: added [Manual] section: [Manuals] Video Toaster 4000 Manual [ online - DiscreetFX ] Video Toaster 2.0 Manual [ online - bombjack ] edit: Vertex 2.0 (1992) (The Art Machine).dms [3D editor, supporting LW, Sculpt, Caligari, EPS import and more ) Last edited by emufan; 01 May 2014 at 01:44. |

found: ShowMaker 1.0 Gold Disks 1991 ( 4 disks)
kind of presentation program with a nice GUI - not as cool as seen in scala, but kind of sequencer thing. you can add a VideoToaster track and use its effects for the ShowMaker presentation. not so bad i guess. it does also support genlocks, midi-events and scripting (arexx). *bump* anyone lately found something we can add here? for those looking for related original software with manual/binder you may have a look at The Amiga Lounge
lists some boxed VT software like RenderFX, WipeMaster, WipeStudio and others. [ The Amiga Lounge on EAB ] |

Old Video Toaster User magazines will probably explain it in more detail.

just about time for another animation. found a good tutorial,
which explains the spline control values: tension and continuity. using them properly (not yet optimal, it seems) , makes the sphere jump more realistic, i like it. Last edited by emufan; 11 August 2016 at 20:34. |

added VT42-Toasterless-0.1.lha to the ftp.
included are versions for the VideoToaster hardware aswell. both come with slave and master switcher - still not sure how to use it. updated howto-compile posting for the master & slave version. The Editor (Edit binary) one can also compile, almost the same procedure, as seen with the switcher, just three more assigns. |
