Hi. Can all betas be placed in main post to not look for them in all threads?
This with all change logs? Or divided in few but main posts.

Is Winuae registry dependent application or can I have more than one installed version in different folders and will it be working correctly? Sometimes new version breaks something where other stuff works better. It would be good to have a backup for such cases.

If I remember, WinUAE can be made portable, so it works on an ini (I hope I'm not confusing this with Altirra which I know does the same)

As for the beta's packed into the main post, I think most would find that confusing, and certainly it's not the way it's been done for as long as I can remember with 99% of emulators. Finals in the main post, beta's as they happen through the thread.

Obviously, it's all down to the author, but it's never been the way it's been done and would confuse, especially with lists of change logs too. A veritable wall of text a mile long....

Back to testing..

The best way to make WinUAE portable is to download the zipped version and extract it to a folder. Then create a file called winuae.ini before you run it. Finally tick 'Portable mode' on the Paths screen to make all the paths relative.

Too boring because beta links are easy to generate from version numbers and all changelogs are in single file winuaechangelog.txt included with sources (under od-win32)
