I didn't try it myself, but since it's based on WinUAE it should work.

Would it be possible to add network support?

It's possible, but would be a significant amount of work, and the interest has been low so far. Also it wouldn't be compatible with the PC versions of JFShadowWarrior, but in theory it could connect to MorphOS/OS4 games in hosted mode.

Sorry I should have been more specific: I meant a picture of a Shadow Warrior network session on Amiga Anyway, you've got a quite impressive set of machines there.
There are many factors preventing cross-platform play: different endiannes, the use of modern TCP/IP features, etc. Even if it's fixable, it's simply not worth the effort and would likely need changes on both sides. |

Quake was multiplatform from the start, so they had the foresight to design the network protocol with that in mind. Shadow Warrior doesn't have a dedicated server though, the client/server mode is a new addition in JFSW too, as the original game was P2P-only. One Amiga will have to take the role of the server

I'm thinking they learned a lesson from how they did it in Doom which released with dreadful networking support It went from "We'll worry about that later" to "We'll worry about that first".

The performance was slightly improved for the 040 executables. The only way you can lose your saves if you delete them, so make sure you don't accidentally erase SAV files.

I see. If I changed the save format for any reason I would definitely warn people about it. I tried my old saves, and they all worked fine. If you have one that's broken, then please send it to me so I can take a look.

Thanks for the save, this indeed crashes. For the versions you can check the build date every version prints on startup. I assume this save was created with the first version, right?

The old version, right.
Otherwise there would not be a problem. |

Okay, I assume this save still works with the old version. Do the saves created in the new version work with the old one?
