Nice find!

Ive been testing my boards with an external IDE HDD. It's worked fine with every card, and .... running via external power.

I couldn't get any of my CF adaptors working.

I use the Floppy Power connector but I use IDE only, no floppy and I have solid 5V at Floppy Power.
Still IDE does not work
I will try external Power.

@plasmab

ISSI RAM boards behave the same with the new firmware. Rev 3 fails systest, Rev 2 doesn't but they're both unstable.

I'd just as well pitch em and warn against their use in the BOM. If you'd like a set send me a PM.

I have one more idea you can try if you have a microscope... The biggest change between rev 2 and rev 3 in terms of the RAM was that A21 was connected...

Its possible that the NC pin we connected A21 to may be causing issues....If you cut this track you'll be back to Rev2.

Just an idea if you want to investigate more.

Try also SanDisk SD cards. They seem to be the most compatible ones, no problems here with 4 and 8 GB versions.

By the way, I still have 4 populated TF530 cards for sale, if anyone's interested.

I don't tend to have a real floppy connected. Just an HxC emulator. If that's of any help.

@plasmab could you try to make a format using a HFE disk in HXC with 50mhz firmware, if i try i got an error, i tried with HXC slim, Gotek with HXC and a Gotek with new FlashFloppy firmware, is not a problem, for me running at 24mhz is enought. Thanks for share your work.

I'll try this out next time i have the A500 out. I've almost finished the A534S... last few traces to route and i rechecked over the SATA chip tonight and found some errors so i fixed them... this could be fun

I have also ordered up the ISSI ram. expect it here soon so i can try that out too. Possibly fix the issue.

Hi Guys I have question. Does anyone know where I can get a CPU riser adapter, so the TF530 that I'm building, will sit further back in my 500+..

Thanks...

I recommend trying the https://github.com/AwesomeInferno/68000Relocator and using EasyEDA to order.. was very very cheap for 5.

When we will see first picture of this baby?

Are specs same than previously mentioned? Does it use Zorro II address space?

Its 4Mb of RAM, Zorro III space
Buffered SATA. No IDE. A XC9572TQF100 replaces the 64 pin RAM CPLD.
Otherwise its a TF530. Minor additions to allow it to work on the Atari ST.

Hope you didn't lose anything you can't easily replace. Looks like enough evidence is in place to convince the wife new Ryzen™ PC is in order.

plasmab. Can you please send me the link so I buy one, as there's no order page on that site, or do I have to signup first (What's EasyEDA)...

Go to the link he provided you and download the Gerber .zip file, then order it on EasyEDA by going here:

https://easyeda.com/order

They have a special of sorts going on where you can get 10 for ~$2. Just go with the default color, etc.
