I got a bit bored of Fears - I might come back to it, maybe I need to give it a bit more time...
I just finished Gears of War on the 360 - I thought it was better than GOW2 - there were some quite tough battles in it... good fun.

Now, what next...?

Nope, it'll still be boring

I gave it a second try after gimbal said that he really liked it and it was still boring and veeery repetitive (especially the level design). I only hope you haven't paid too much for it (like me

Cheers for the heads up TCD... I only gave a few quid for it so I am not that bothered - there is a danger of playing two many mediocre games.

Eh? F.E.A.R. (PC), or Fears (Amiga) ? I never played Fears you know

edit: well, the top post of this page gave the answer already

F.E.A.R. is cool because it plays wickedly smooth, but the level design stays boring as shit.

Actually I played Fears (Amiga) the other day - I still like it in a strange way if you forgive it all it's faults.

I quite like the F.E.A.R games but they do get a bit repetitive... they scare the hell out of you at first but you soon get used to it, kinda like Doom 3.
I still play them occasionally online

Actually F.E.A.R wasn't really scary. It's that 'Ring' kinda horror that I never got. Maybe I watch too many horror flicks though

I think I over-dosed on Video Nasties in the early 80's and like you TCD I don't scare easy now... some games do make me "jump" though!

I've also seen many horror movies but there are bits of FEAR that make you jump... i purposely get horror type games for my consoles as i can play them on a 56" screen with surround sound and the lights out
