Any *game* that requires pixel-perfect timing and accuracy is frustrating. It is like trying to make a headshot while being drunk in STALKER, impossible.
Recently I tried Ghost Battle again, just for kicks. Oh my god... you throw your weapon in an arch, so when you are too close, you cannot hit the enemy anymore. But most of the time you also cannot jump over them. Now that wouldn't be a problem since you can just turn around and run away, but a lot of times the game sends enemies at you from both sides, trapping you! You either get bitch slapped to death or thrown into one of the many pits! IT IS NOT FAIR. To end it off, in one of the last levels you have to use a superjump to get over a large pit. Yeah. If you die in the wrong moment, the superjump does not spawn anymore, and you are stuck... IT IS NOT FAIR. Great music & gfx though |

...and you remind me, I should reinstall STALKER now that I've rebuilt my gaming computer...
I agree with pixel perfect accuracy games. Frustrating. A problem even with very early games (I can name you a few Atari 2600 titles like that and countless CBM64). Nebulus wasn't really like that, it was great. |

Thought id contribute to this thread, i have two games in mind..
First...Platoon the difficulty on the amiga version is INSANE! Secondly, an amazing game, Indianapolis 500. Doing a 60 Lap race, the concentration required is immense. Still very fun to play though |

More fun is turning around in Indy 500 and slamming head on into traffic. That was one of the most-played games I had for the Amiga and that's about all I did.. The best was catching a spin and just before you stop, a straggler smashes into you to send you spinning again.
(This says something odd about my personality, doesn't it?) |

The game Rally Championships,I have not played much but it is necessary a faster reaction than the human vision for turn in time in a curve It doesn't matter slowly that you go,the curves always surprise to you.
Super Skidmarks, has anybody won the F1 tournament?I have only won the Mini tournament and suffering much.why you cannot play the whole tournament if you are not first in all the races?isn't it a little stupid? Cannon Fodder is quite exasperating,I suppose that it is part of its success,a great game anyway. |

Entirely stupid, yes, but then again I think the multi-player mode more than makes up for it

My friend and I were playing beach volley. He couldn't win and thought I was using the action replay to cheat... I explained that this wasn't possible.. then he just went mad, said some 'words' and suddenly left.
Next day I got an apology.. lol That was about 12 years ago. I'm still a good friend of him though |

F/a 18 Interceptor is another game that comes to mind. Graphically supreme for its time, but I seem to remember flying around for hours looking for someone to have a dogfight with unsuccessfully, then opting to fly under the Goldengate bridge instead. |

Indianapolis 500, Yessss I also did the turn-around and crash thing. Super game by the way, the gameplay with low graphics really hit the sky!
Nice game! |

"I'd say that is quite addictive, but I'm also a little bit masochist, lol."
Little bit Music is maybe more insane than the game itself. Epic! |

The games that frustrated med the most was Pinball Dreams and Pinball Fantasies. Not because of any bugs or bad game design, they just made me so angry.
KGB was pretty frustrating from a game design perspective, a limited amount of saves and small mistakes could come and haunt you alot later in the game so you had to replay large parts. All those games were awesome though. |

Dragon Ninja was the worst game i had ever played. It was difficult to kill the bad guys with the crappy controls and gameplay.

Definately Blood Money. The slow pace and taunting music just drove me nuts.

Yolanda without a doubt the most difficult frustrating game ever, although in all fairness on the box it does say its the most difficult platform game ever.

Wierd Dreams was certainly frustrating because i wanted to see more of the game but i never could
I could probably easily say Stryx as well but wont because although i never got anywhere on it - just that first level - it wasn't all that frustrating funny enough |
