I get lag with Tank Mouse on Raspberry Pi/Linux. On the Pi it can be resolved by adding

usbhid.mousepoll=8

to /boot/cmdline.txt

I've noticed it with another wireless mouse, but it's not a problem with all, eg. Logitechs are okay.

I checked the thread and couldn't find a reference - does anyone know (on Windows, at least) whether there's a way to get the Tank Mouse to issue a middle mouse button click? The scroll function works fine, just can't issue a middle click.

I have one, but it is not in use for a two reasons.

- Middle button goes crazy, if not cleaned every day.
- Does not have a sleep mode, eats two AAA batteries in a week.

Amiga Tank Mouse Revival

The sensor for the scroll pad just floats beneath the case and needs to be relocated to a working position (move-test-repeat) to work properly.

And no, it does not have a circuit to shut down the mouse after a few minutes of disuse (and then reactivate on a button press) like other wireless mice.

I have 2 Go-To favorites using the Tikus (Sordan sells them at a low price), my Logitech MX Master 2X for daily use on my A4000, and for refurbished A1200s, the TeckNet Wireless mouse.

Aha interesting. Guess I should trial & error myself. Any video tutorials available for this?

On mine the connector wasn't quiet seated properly. The connector seems quite fragile. All working ok now though.

I have one here too. Batteries seem to last about a month or two - it's annoying to have to shake the mouse to wake it up
