I hate to slap you in the face with reality, but most people would actually prefer to be compensated for their hard work. Maybe more Amiga software would be made freely available if the authors/owners were paid for it to happen. |

Me thinks you haven't read this thread properly. AndreasM jumped in and got Michiel's e-mail address, he tried to do an exclusive or at least a first release of an intended Aminet PD release. That's embarrassing.
Sure it's Michiel's programme, and i'm sure too a lot of Amiga interested people would gladly pay HIM and not for an AF mag issue to force the sales. Anyway, there will be an Aminet release later. Last edited by Retro-Nerd; 11 June 2010 at 02:51. |

Ask him if he would like a donation account set up. Generally donations are better than requesting money on old software.
Or something along the model of WHDLoad? |

I am sure Amiga Future magazine will not allow the posting of PFS3 on Aminet. Luckily I have my own software since I bought it many years ago.

The AF magazine may neither allow nor disallow the posting of PFS3 anywhere. It's still only the original author who may do this. The original author has forbidden to publish the commercial version on Aminet. He will prepare the Aminet release when he gets the time for it. In the meanwhile he has allowed AF to put the commercial version on their magazine CD. Nothing more and nothing less.
