Hi TCD,
My good friend cosmicfrog has recently moved and is presently negotiating for a new broadband contract at his new address. He is not expecting to be back online in any way which makes it possible to seed torrents until at least the end of July. Please be understanding in these circumstances. Thanks, prowler |

Thanks for the info prowler Actually that is all that I'm asking for. If there are any reasons why someone can't seed, just let me know and the account won't be deleted.

and when there are no leechers for that... bit of a strange situation but i understand your rules. |

As I said, no need to hurry or upload anything that is a 'no-go'. Just seed your torrent like you do now and maybe if you find something you want to share that is safe, do that

Just a quick FYI on why I'm not seeding at the moment..
My boss decided that he didn't like me uploading as much as I was and I was forced to stop seeding. I am going to need an external drive to transfer all my torrents home - and I need a new internal drive to put it all on as I only have 30Gb free at the moment. It will most likely be the end of the month before this happens. |

Just joined..
but there seems to be just a few users seeding the files..
I have an idea (an old one, and not the first one) that is tested and works, just haven't had the time to finalize it.. How about connecting some trackers together, archive all content of the added torrents, and let the servers be the ones who keep the torrents working ? You could use BitTornado for this, monitoring a directory of added torrent files and giving a path to a cache/archive directory using the command line: /root/BitTornado-CVS/btlaunchmany.py --max_upload_rate 5000 --saveas_style 3 --saveas /home/amiga/cache /home/amiga/uploads/ It could even be a public accessible cache for direct downloading of individual files from the torrent.. Check out my lab/example on http://agnus.amiga-archive.com/ |
