Game looks really nice - thanks for your hard work to everyone involved, esp dlfrsilver.
Can't wait for a deprotected version so I can play the game on a real Amiga. |

@Damien & Codetapper:
The game is easy with everything left unchanged because the default mode is EASY. You can also choose NORMAL mode in the Options. BTW: If someone is able to activate cheat mode, let me know. Last edited by andreas; 09 April 2006 at 23:22. |

Nearly done And its definately going to be two disks, but I've so far laid it out in a logical way so that at the moment there is only one disk swap, as the intro sequence is quite big: First Boot part is 158K Intro sequence is 142K Main code is 96K That takes care of the extra data, so all the level data and ingame music is on disk 2. I can't believe it was never released!!! |

Nice one Galahad, that was quick
Edit: Just out of curiosity for "real" Amiga owners, are you able to run this 2 disk version using 2 disk drives therefore getting rid of the need to swap disks? Last edited by DamienD; 10 April 2006 at 00:07. |

No, because you only have to swap the once after the intro sequence. Depending on what format I do the second disk (to do with space), it 'might' be possible to have disk 2 as a booting disk as well but without the intro sequence, but I'm struggling to fit it on a DOS disk with a filesystem as it is, so it'll probably be a trackloader. |

At least it will load fast, like the original does.

For those who are impatient; you will see more, not just monsters if you wait long enough in the end-sequence (I assume exup is the extro)

But whdload's patch is in progress - rawdic imager finished - many blitter delays inserted - exit key fixed (68000) - unpackers relocated in fastmem to do: - 24 bits access fault to fix when monster are shooted - gfx bugs to fix in game (perhaps protection or again a blitter bug) etc |

What you've done sounds very logical and like you say you only have to swap the disk once after the intro sequence. Well done |

Cfou & Galahad: while fixing the keyboard routine might as well look for other cheat codes...

Maybe CFOU!, Codetapper or someone else can find out *IN* the code where this "i am a lamer" cheat has to be typed in! As the game gets REAL hard in level 20 (from second end-boss), it might be useful to have a trainer option (let alone an "in-house" deprotected one-disk version which Galaxy & me can transfer to their miggies) According to dlfrsilver's info text, when cheat is active, CTRL+F8 will invoke a reset. This might be a good starting point when scanning the code ... Btw.. @dlfrsilver: Please note that for WWarp, the user must own an amiga with a 68020 CPU or higher! Just to warn you guys, who'd install it in vain (as yours truly did too). Quote:
