Read/write error also happens on real HW if KS 1.3. Game start delay is also there. No UAE bugs.

Yeah, it looks like the Scoopex intro is the culprit.
If it's commented out in s-s the game works with A500 (most common) config.

I tried
Recoil v1.3 (2020-01-10)(Scoopex)[p][Atari ST conversion].adf

on both quickstart winuae A500 and also my real A500 and they behave exactly the same.

No delay no issues with delay in title menu either

I will mention this to Mr.Spiv and get him to fix it.

Have directed Mr.Spiv to look at this thread and hopefully a fix will be done soon.

I think I spotted one issue and got rid of the RW error thing. At least I can run the intro from A600 (ECS) with kick 1.3 now multiple times (I messed ADKCON on exit).
If someone skilled in FS-UAE could spot when/where there is the mentioned write to ECS BLTSIZV/H I would be grateful.. since I tweak mostly with real HW Memory write breakpoints to $dff05c & $dff05e did not catch a thing in my sorry FS-UAE test.

Folks, try 1.4 version in the zone and see how you get on with that

The blitter problem was my end in the framework code, I must have had artifacts on the screen when exiting and put in a clear routine but put the wrong value so it started much earlier than it should by capturing all the blitter registers, when it was meant to be clearing sprite and colour registers.

No delay on WinUAE A600 ECS + A1200 AGA configs now.

Any chance for a harddrive compatible version like v1.3 has ?
