So here is a very brief and buggy build of where I am. The screen also scrolls but bugs are currently stopping this! AI is still a bit dodgy and still have no idea why baddies swap sides? Haven't quite got all the collision detection code in there yet but you can see what it's going to be like.
Feel like this is finally becoming a playable game... Need to test on a real Amiga - have a vanilla 600 to try but looks highly likely that this will need 2 meg (initially). Thanks to Saimon69 for some really great music and fgh for the title screen. [ Show youtube player ] |

Looking forward to this so much. I was unfamiliar with the ZX version and only knew the C64 one, but I agree the ZX on reflection appears to be the correct choice to replicate.

Got flying kicks working pretty well and realised that I had broken the controls so you could just hold down the fire button (now sorted).
Pretty happy with how it is going except for the sound! Compiled the game and ran on my V1200. Played absolutely fine but the BB2 mod player was way too fast and all over the place (Vampire maybe) and the PHX player did the same and just made strange clicks so I now know that it's not WinUAE but an issue with the PHX player library. I do wonder if I have an older library? Nearly time to add the motorbike into the game...brmmmmm |

Amazing job! Great!!!
Love the CPC version, for me was the best. Yours seem to be based on spectrum version? |

Yep - was Speccy lover before being an Amiga lover and played this loads. Dean Swain coloured all the Speccy graphics years ago and I have just reduced their colours (as they were in 256 colours even though they don't use that many) and put them in my game. Just working on getting level 1 as perfect as possible and then other levels should fall into place pretty quickly. A new video will come soon...

Looking forward to giving this a try. Remember that Mr Renegade needs to kneel whenever he lands from a flying kick.

Although based on the ZX version, hope the ending is based on the C64 of one, nice little animated ending

It would be nice if it had a little opening sequence. Once all the gameplay stuff is sorted of course.

Just about got the lifts working so now you can walk through the whole of level 1. Once I have ironed out the bugs I will pop a video up.
