I think the best game reference it's a convertion of Shadow of The Beast for PCs.
Here you are: http://thecompany.pl/gra/Shadow+Of+The+Beast I'm sure that it will be helpful. |

That's just a WinUAE emulated version.

Yes, but little modified and much easier to play. Ideal for the reference.
I think. |

Absolutely awesome! I don't agree with what others have said about the tempo or anything, I think the sound and tempo is just about right on, and it seems to me that it has the same mood as the original. Can't wait to hear the final of this and the other themes remixed! BTW daxx.....the Blood Money and Africa (Budbrain 2 demo) remixes rule as well! |

hi sonica.. you're right... a 1:1 remake doesn't need new sounds... it should 1:1 and is imho just a waste of time because i can load the original with winUAE.
i'll use my remixes then for another SOTB remake later or i just make a musicdisc then... |

Ahoy Sonica, are you still working on this? Your work so far has been really good! I must've spotted your BEAST project for the first time about two years ago (I think?) and been eagerly awaiting updates ever since.
There's another person, Pierre-Alexandre from Byron 3D Games Studio, who's creating a very faithful conversion of the game Lionheart (linky), but has not updated his project in quite a while. The latest release is a bit unstable and crashes a lot on Win7 / 10 (at least for me). Still, whenever it runs it is super playable and most of the game's content is already there. This and your BEAST remakes are by far the most polished and faithful conversions of any Amiga game for the PC I've seen around, so it'd be super awesome if you get to complete them some day EDIT: yeah I realize that the topic creator has erased all own posts for some odd reason and that the chance of receiving a reply after all this time is rather dim, ah well, still worth a try though ^^ Last edited by SunSpire; 25 May 2021 at 22:25. |

Best of luck with this. I still occasionally play this for a while on my A500 (and get nowhere in it).
