Hi Guys,

Just got feedback from Manufacturer.

As i needed to update RMI to add a couple features they've requested, i had to "lock" it down to avoid them tickering while i was working on the code.

RMI has been updated and isn't locked anymore.
Guys at packing & shipping stations already started to update your statuses so you might see it now in RMI.

You also have two new fields: Tracking number and Carrier name.

I'm not very proud of the UI but it is ok i guess.

Just saw the tracking number in the RMI - my black case should be arriving at my work later this morning. Exciting times! Will report back when it arrives.

Drat, no update yet, still at not picked / not shipped... are single cases going out before multiple's? Or are any particular colors causing holdups?

My case arrived and it's a thing of beauty.

What can I say about it? It's a black A1200! Any review could end here and the case would be no less cool for it.

The details are perfect. The signatures on the inside are a lovely A1000-style touch and made more poignant after Dave Needle passed away. I couldn't get a good photo of these without separating the two halves. I like the extras like the HDMI/VGA back-plate and the slats on the trapdoor cover is a nice addition.

The case looks and feels high-quality and the well-designed packaging just adds to the professional impression.

The downsides are pretty minor - a little dent in my packaging (I know, big deal!), the HxC cut-out is visible from some angles as reported previously, and a black badge would obviously look better than a white one (if Philippe or someone else doesn't make these, it would be easy enough to make our own if we can have a copy of the design)

Overall, what an achievement! Well done again, Philippe. Can't wait to transfer my A1200 into it...

About the HxC cut-out...Try sticking some thick tape on the inside of the case over the spot to see if it hides it

I doubt that will help - you can see it because the plastic becomes slightly warped where it is thin.
When the case is closed, there will not really be any light inside to shine through.

I received mine yesterday - I have the translucent case and it looks amazing! It doesn't have the correct button for my floppy drive but I've read on Kickstarter that these will follow on in the next few months. In any case, the original white button looks fine.

Unfortunately something's gone wrong with my A1200 as when I plugged it in this morning and tried to power up, power went off straight away and a trace on the circuit board has burnt out... so looks like it's off for repair (yes, I have already had it re-capped, before anyone asks!) Really gutted as I'd waited so long for the new case
