I think this could be the issue. Problem being I manually set up my VPN and it would be a nightmare undoing and redoing this. Thanks for the offer of setting up an account, that would be really good of you. PM on its way. Apologies, I hadn't seen this thread. Thanks for merging my post here. |

I've been trying over the last month and constantly get the error message. I've tried a few different emails but all have the same problem.
I've dropped davideo a pm here hoping he can help. |

I managed to get in using my wife's phone, as that's the only device in our household that doesn't have a VPN setup. |

We've got another (old) admin back on the site so we should be able to sort things out soon.
In the meantime please feel free to drop me a PM and I'll see what I can do. |

Good morning,
I'm having trouble signing upon Amibay. I have been trying to register for about a month but got a message about a problem with the spam filter. When I tried yesterday I got a message saying that registration has been suspended. Can anyone help me with this? I need to order a terrible fire 330. Kind regards. |

@alpaga77
If you use the Contact Us link on the bottom of the AmiBay Homepage someone will get in touch with you to sort this. |

New registrations could be closed at the moment due to the problems we are having setting up the new server. I've asked for clarification on the status of registrations. |

I've checked with the Dev and indeed new registrations are closed until the server has been upgraded.
I'll update this thread when they are open again. Thanks |

Just tried to login to Amibay for the first time in a few months. It looked like I was already logged in as it showed my screen name. Couldnt access the forum so tried a couple of times to log in. Didnt work - had a pop up about proof of ownership and that I was banned. Tried to get to the main page by clicking the logo - and got the same pop up - over and over. Gave up, contacted Admin and got a short agrressive sounding email saying Im banned forever ! No explanation or chance to discuss ??? What the hell is up with those guys ? Ive only ever posted a few times and generally read posts there ? Am I missing something ? Are they trying to cull members. What a crazy way to deal with people... Pretty appalled really.

@misguided_fool We have new members registering every day who are happy to follow the rules.
You were banned for failing on numerous occasions to provide proof of ownership on your sale items. Once you've been banned on AmiBay there is no way back. |

What sale items ? I've maybe sold one item on there years ago ?
Am I missing something ? Let me know a bit more and maybe I can help. Just sticking a lifetime ban on someone without any information is bizarre. Can you tell me more about it ? Perhaps Ive forgotten something. If I have broken some strict rules I will hold my hands up. |

Assuming you're using the same forum name on AmiBay as you are here.
You linked 2 sale threads to Ebay listings without prices or proof of ownership on AmiBay. You also failed to provide proof of ownership on at least one other thread. You were warned on at least one occasion about providing proof and because you ignored that you were banned. |

Can you give me a clue as to what the listings were for ?
I dont think Ive ever received any emails from Amibay warning me about anything. If Im banned, thats fine. I just dont understand why. If I had seen warnings I would have responded. I guess Im not very active on there. Can you tell me what the items were ? |
