Hey hey!
Just listed an a590 including 20MB WD drive and 2MB ram and PSU. Boots to workbench, shows ram as fitted. 8 bad blocks on a scan. But it's an old drive so I guess that's kinda expected.

http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...obalID=EBAY-GB

And an untested SupraDrive 500xp - SCSI controller and ram expander. no hdd fitted, populated to 2mb ram. Can't test because my a500 floppy drive is dead. Can't get to workbench to see if the SCSI controller or ram shows up. Selling as parts or not working, but who knows, maybe it works?

http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...obalID=EBAY-GB

Supradrive 500XP UPDATE:
I have managed to find an external floppy that will boot workbench on my a500plus. AND Have found the 50MB SCSI Hard drive that came with the 500xp.

Neither the SupraDrive SCSI nor the RAM can be seen at Workbench nor at boot up - HOWEVER - I also have noticed that I have an older ROM chip in this unit.
I have AMAB5 - the latest ROM is AMAB6. Apparently this fixes many compatibility issues with this expansion.
It's quite possible that this older ROM is not compatible with the A500PLUS. (other people seem to be using this card with A500+, but I'm guessing that's with the AMAB6 ROM)

Have tried the 50MB SCSI HDD in my a590 and the drive itself is good and boots to workbench. - this alone would be a nice plus to anyone with an amiga SCSI controller. - I will include it in this package.

interesting resources (floppy disk images too):
http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/supra500xp

and it looks like a guy called TjLaZer on the http://www.amiga.org forums has been selling these ROM chips as recently as January 2015 for not very much money.

Good luck!

Oh if only I wasn't paying off our big american fridge freezer this month.

I was just coming to the conclusion that our old home pc needed replacing - Optical drive and hard drives would not be an issue either.
But hey ho given the talk I gave the wife yesterday about not writing any big cheques this month.....

Looks like a nice machine so good luck with the sale Steve.

It's a nice machine mate, worth breaking the bank for

(I'd do it for £200 if collected and paid in cash)

Steve - you are killing me! Don't tempt me like that. I could put a nice little SSD in there and it would fly.......

Damn it.

Damn it!

Thank you for the offer - I am going to run away now however and desperately try not to accept.

Maybe I just need to face reality and put my IDE-Fix express up for sale to contribute towards it. I took it out a while ago and don't really use it or the slimline DVD rom at the moment. If I ever fit one of those Aztec cards then I could put the DVD rom back on the IDE on its own.

Well as I said, I really should just make do with what I have for the minute. Now if I could just sort out my issue with supercars 2 on the a500 I have, then life would be great!
