That's a shame, can you upload a save game that shows the glitch

Will have to give this a go on GB-A1000 68060/100 RTG to see how it goes. Love a bit of Duke Nukem and pretty sure I own the PC version.

Thanks, OK I've fixed it (Duke didn't like an optimization!)

I'll upload new versions to AmiNet

There must be something wrong with your setup then because the old AGA version used to fly on my old Blizzard 1260

I noticed that now the resolution does not exceed 640x480, the graphics however have the same as when it was set to 1024x768

I do like this RTG-version on the actual WinUAE 4.2 (OS 3.1, Picasso, AHI), but unfortunately I am not able to set screen resolution higher than 640x480. Is there are chance, to set screen resolution higher ?

With all the attention NovaCoder's ports are getting recently I thought it was only fair to give a bump to this great port!

LoL thanks mate

Yes my old ports seem very popular at the moment

Here is a complete list of my ports for anyone that's interested (also some other ports that just have my name in the readme, not all mine):

Hi Nova,

Thought I'd give this a try

No issues with the AGA version, but the RTG version won't start for me.

I get:

If I check "AMIDUKE_LOG.TXT":

If I check "AMIDUKE_WARNING.TXT":

I'm using the same RTG configuration / hard drive setup that I do for AmiSpear / AmiWolf / ZDoom but installed AHI 4.18 also.

Hi Damien,

That's an easy one

Lovely error handling in effect, very proud of myself

So the problem is that AmiDuke is trying to see what display modes are available to construct a dynamic list of options at start up, to do this it must query the public screen (WorkBench).

You need to run your WorkBench in an RTG mode (display prefs) to stop this error occurring.

Thanks Nova

Ok, that worked.

Maybe it's just me though, but personally I usually leave WB at the default "PAL: High Res", as I don't like running higher resolutions for WB (everything's too small and not sharp).

So I guess there's no way possible to leave "PAL: High Res" and then the game adjusts to an RTG screenmode upon starting; like with all your other ports?
