No game lamers. ;-)
Is that a PC-60 or an A3500 on the floor? 2x CBM 900, C128 3.5" proto, C65.. It's not as if this would come as a shock, you've had these on your website since ages. :-) Last edited by Jope; 29 July 2015 at 10:11. |

PC60, if you mean the leftmost of the 4 tower machines under the desk.
BTW, that machine, which I was told used to run amiga.com or .org or something, came with a bad/confused floppy controller and bad onboard video. I managed to socket and swap out the main core chips to those two functions, but no good. If you know anyone who can help me with old PC component troubleshooting over email, tell them to drop me a line. - Bo |

Finally completed my gaming mancave, all my favorite machines are hooked up ready to use. My Amiga's now have dedicated screens (Benq BL912 & BL702a) and i have connected them together with serial cable, just need to find some time to use them now!
My beloved CD32 is tucked away in the corner next to the 3DO. |

Yes, it's a famiclone. It's a "Dynavision Radical", from Dynacom, a defunct brazilian company.
Dynacom produced Atari 2600 clones, they produced some real high quality joysticks also. At one point they thought about producing MSX computers here (alongside Gradiente and Sharp), but they decided to go and produce NES clones, I think they were the first guys to make NES clones around here, and they had many of them... they were all called "Dynavision" something.... some of them have 60 and 72 pins slots together which is a very nice thing. What I really like about the Dynacom famiclones is that their joysticks are *real* good, IMO better than the official Nintendo ones. That's the Joystick I use with it: I can't stress how much this controller is great. Most of the time I can't stand nintendo controllers (I really can't get how a dpad without diagonals became the standard) so I love to actually own a Dynavision Their first Dynavision (name Dynavision 2 ... because the first one was a 2600 clone) used this controller: Which they probably just copied the design from quickshot controllers, but it was great too. They also produced this controller with was awesome and had versions for every console back at the time, even for PC... shame about the NES version having A and B buttons swapped, which could really mess up things in certain games and their first controller ever was this one below, called the "Dynastick" which had versions for the Atari 2600, MSX and for their NES/Famicom clones too... many people have very fond memories of those controllers, as they were really better than the oficial Atari 2600 and MSX controllers we got here. |

I know Dynacom very well. All their stuff was VERY popular in my country as a cheap option to official stuff, especially the A2600 clones.

Bought a TF328 recently, still looking for a riser but while I was waiting I thought I'd check the condition of my CD32s... if I could remember where they are... and the first box I opened...
I hope the 3rd PSU is in one of the others boxes, but I got what I needed so I stopped looking... 1 of the machines has a dodgy CD drive/lid hinge but the other 2 work 100% Last edited by amigadude; 01 October 2017 at 00:54. |
