Did you check the battery compartment of the mouse, there it should be "hidden".

Could you please show the reverse side of that PCB? And show us where on eBay you found it?

This is where I found it: https://www.ebay.nl/itm/275173953535...&segname=11051

Both sides are in the pictures, it seems to have no electronic components.

It's a "Y" splitter, that allows connecting two plain joysticks at once, but effectively connecting all switches (pairwise) in parallel. Proper switcher must mux signals from one source.

I take it backers for the KS campaign received the adapter included as it was a stretch goal… but for retail purchase it is an extra. Atleast that was how it was presented in the store when purchasing 3x

It was originally going to be a stretch goal, however component cost increases meant that it then changed to being an additional (though subsidised) purchase.

I think it cost me an extra €11

Note that even though this adapter is made by Lotharek it is not the same as his TIKUS adapter. It has different components and does NOT support joypads (which is supported by TIKUS). Also there is considerable lag with the mouse and this adapter... not really noticable with low-res Workbench usage, but one notices it on RTG (720p resolutions for example) and when playing games (try playing Shufflepuck caffe or Rock'n Roll with it and you will notice the lag).

For anyone else switching buttons on the tank-mouse:

Remember to twist the print mount off to seperate the two mouse buttons! (almost caught me out!)

I now have nice black / white / red theme modern setup happening!

It caught me out, probably was why when I was installing it that I had to reopen and readjust the buttons a few times before it was perfect. Oops.

Should scrolling be working under AmigaOS4.1FE?
I can't get it to work.
Must I change any setting in the Prefs?

Anybody or is it too much of a n00b question?

4.1FE has native scrolling, and as far as I can remember, always had. I use the scrollwheel extensively and don't remember ever not having it under OS4.1. There are some settings related to the scrollwheel in the Workbench Input preferences - check if they're all set appropriately.

There is a TankMouse driver on Aminet. Might be worth downloading and installing. Make sure you have freewheel that WBStartup prefs can point to.

http://aminet.net/package/driver/input/TankMouse
Thanks for your response.
I already tried that driver, using it under OS3 as well, but it didn't work.
Now as you suggested to use Freewheel I tried it in combination with the driver from Aminet and it worked!
I tried also just with Freewheel, but that didn't work, so it's the combination that does the job.

So this is the situation now: Tankmouse.driver in C:, script to activate driver is in user-startup and Freewheel is in WBstartup.

On OS3 I have scrolling working without Freewheel, just the driver.

Thanks a lot for your suggestion!

Update:
I found that in the Freewheel preferences "Set scrolling..." when you untick the standard ticked box "Ignore MUI" the scrolling is working in more applications.
Note that I am not running the MUIWheelpatch.

I found a better replacement for Freewheel on OS4depot from Thomas Rapp: NewMouse events into native IECLASS_MOUSEWHEEL

Usage: just put the nm2mw file in C: and put
Code:
run >nil: *>nil: nm2mw
in your user-startup

It has no settings, it just works.

Like Freewheel it enables scrolling with the new Tank Mouse only when the TankMouse.driver is active.

Now did you mean there is lag with TIKUS or with the one with Tank Mouse?

Okay, thank you for the info.

I know this thread is about Tank Mouse, and my intention is not to hijack the thread, but i want to ask (and i don't want to create another thread for just this) if anyone knows, does TIKUS work with Unifying receiver?

Edit: Today Lotharek and a local reseller both confirmed that Unifying works (also with scroll wheel).

It works perfectly with the Logitech -- and the MX Master series are great mice with my Amigas.

I use this new Tank mouse in Bluetooth on MisterFPGA (Minimig CORE : OS3.2.2.1). It works correctly but without de scrool option.
