Thank you I'm no pro at making videos, but it's better than the older one anyway

Nice ! Will you keep the FMV for the CD32 version ? It would be nice to have a CD version which is more than the standard floppy one.

This promo trailer in 720p will be included on the physical USB sticks and in the CD32 digital .ISO. It wont be included as CD32 FMV video tho no.

I guess it may be included with the digital download version as well along with the pdf manual, not sure yet.

High quality promotional video!
I join the voice of asking that the video be included in the CD version, it would be nice to make the latter special and superior to the floppy one! In short, as it was done 30 years ago...

The video would be pretty poor quality on CD32 tho. Also I'll only ever sell about 30 digital .ISO copies on CD32 (i.e. like Wiz before), so it's better just to put the video in the disc image as 720p and 1080p .mp4 video along with the digital version of the manual. The CD version will be the same price as the floppy version.

I might be able to do something with CDXL but that would be pretty pants in practice perhaps.

I wonder how many people have FMV carts for their CD32's too? The market for this game on CD32 as .ISO is tiny, so I'm probably not going to go too far with the CD32 version in reality.

I'm in the process of moving all the digital offerings to Etsy now...

https://www.etsy.com/shop/mutationsoftware

This is eventually where CyberPunks 2 will be released in Digital form at least.
Still working stuff out regards all this.

The prices have increased a bit due to VAT tho but there you have it.

Update: It should be out in May/June 2023 as it's almost complete and then it's in for full testing by myself and others in April onwards.

Runs on Amiga AGA, CD32, A500Mini, WinUAE.

The A6 colour .pdf manual is now complete after about 30 updates

Once it passes test and any upgrades/fixes needed, then the glossy boxes & mini boxes are made and duplication begins.

The beginning of the end of a project started in 2020 and reworked several times to 2023.

Catch some of you on the next AmigaBill stream no doubt.

Cheers

Wiz and Tin Toy only work with the old 2.12 core.

The cache problem appears with newer and the latest core update...

I'm just finishing off the 2 player stuff mostly today when I get chance.

As we get nearer the gold release, I will have exact dates and times of release for each version. There will be a playable demo which will probably like Wiz before, be the first 2 or 3 level maps.

Some things to note:

The low level file system used as stated in the forthcoming .pdf manual, supports Amiga OFS and FFS only, so for those that want to install the full game to HD and not using those will need to wait for a WHDLoad patch no doubt.

I can't offer a free download key for those wanting the Digital version in advance of their paid Physical versions this time tho, as the new digital storefront Etsy, does not support download keys for digital products (yet at least). So that is out and no go. End customers will need to decide to purchase either the Digital or Physical version(s) of the game now.

@viddi thank you for that info. It shouldn't present as a problem with CyberPunks 2 in reality as in the options and .pdf manual, I now offer the option to turn off the caches at least for those that notice any slowdown. Given this game runs at 25/30fps PAL/NTSC the impact is greatly negated anyway though in testing already undertaken here.

Not too long now. My best guess would be mid May 2023 but the external testing and complaints has yet to begin LOL, so that may push the release back further.

Circular robo-pal is upgraded and a little bit more advanced in this game, as he can actually hunt down and mash on screen alien lifeforms, which in reality is much more useful. You buy him from the terminal in game but he'll only last about 60 seconds before his battery fails. His damage level in the .pdf manual is: 'That's gotta hurt'
