If I copy the ZIP and LHA files to my CF and place it in my amiga can I use Dopus to extract the files or do I have to do them one by one in the SHELL window?

Of course you can use Dopus to extract multiple archives, that's what I do.
ClassicWB comes with a nice Dopus setup, if you don't have it I recommend you try it out. @Galahad - Thanks. ![]() |

Thanks for these continued updates, just one question,
Along with the files from 'Retroplay/WHDLoad_Updates' on the FTP, what other WHD installs do I need for a complete collection (finals not betas) ? Is it the whole collection on KillerGorilla's site ? and/or are there more ? |

You'd indeed need KG's packs to make it 'complete'. No other sources needed though.

Thanks for the very quick reply. What happened to the idea about clrmame DAT files ? I see there was something posted by Retroplay but it says they were removed. I take it that all the installs on KG's page work with WHDLOAD v17 (I don't have a key but I assume the mojority work without one?), i'm quite new to the WHDLOAD part of Amiga retro.

There are a few installs that don't work with v17, but that's not KG's fault
![]() ![]() Edit: Again, most installs work without a key, but some will have features that are disabled or simply won't work at all. Have a look for yourself, but it's a good idea to spend the few quid to get the key ![]() |

Thanks for the info. Just one more thing, I know GamebaseAmiga is very out of date so I was looking at ClassicWB. Do you know if the Screenshot previews for the WHDLoad games (iGame ?) are updated and know of a site to download them ?
I need to get my Amiga 1200 out of the loft sometime. |

Is there a new or easy way to play these in emulation ? Gamebase Amiga only supports it's own list of games (I like WHDRun but it leaves all the unzipped files in the GBGame directory), I tried ClassicWB but you have to unzip all the files into the designated directory of iGame and end up with thousands !!
Is there a newer version of WHDRun that I can use with WinUAE and not need GameBase Amiga ?? Are there any other options ? |

Something is weird here.
When I load GreatGianaSisters_v1.4_2945.lha into my system shown im my Sig I can't jump. With version 1.3 it still works fine... Means when pushing the Joystick upwards, there is no reaction. Tried that with different Joysticks -> Same Tried that in Emulator -> works! Can anybody else copy that? ![]() |

Have you checked if any tooltypes for a second button to jump are set?

I can't jump either, only button 2 works as jump (Wico Red Ball joystick in my case).
Works in WinUAE, not on real Amiga. [edit] Bug reported to Psygore. Last edited by Retroplay; 29 September 2012 at 00:36. |

Does emulator behavior change if you change GamePorts panel joystick type to Gamepad?

I can't find installs for these games:
Nigel Mansell's World Championship (Non-AGA) Oscar (Non-AGA) Top Gear 2 (AGA) Perhaps you missed them when creating the installs? There are only AGA installs for the first 2 and the ECS install for Top Gear 2. And I think these were all on KGs packs already. |

Oscar (OCS/ECS) is not supported by the WHD install.
Nigel Mansell (OCS/ECS) & Top Gear (AGA) both have slave errors. http://kg.whdownload.com/kgwhd/errors.php |

Ah that explains it then, thanks.
About Oscar I wasn't sure, the readme mentions 2 different floppy versions and hol mentions a WHD install for the ECS/OCS version, so I guess that info should be corrected at hol. |

Hi Retroplay,
In AttackOfTheGreenSmellyAliensFromPlanet27b6_v1.0.zip the default tool for Instructions.info is AmigaPower14b:MuchMore Probably a duff link on most people's systems! Thanks |
