- 1:1 pixel centered (which gives you a tiny image) - full screen (which stretches the image to full 16:10 screen) There is no "keep aspect ratio" (or whatever it may be called on various hardware) option to have a full height 4:3 picture with black bars on the sides. |

Yup, sorry, this. (I was typing a reply quickly before I left the house!) There's 2 options: unscaled, so, tiny 4:3 320x240 etc screen in the middle, or, stretched to 16:10. I can take a picture of both, if you're interested. Any game or resolution you particularly want to see, to compare against? |

Do a couple of these can't have you arsing about with my list of games all day Do you get vertical bars with your display? Those bastardin things I get on both Amigas? And are you using a buffered RGB to VGA adapter? Or just plain one with no buffer? |

INFOTRONIC L2130S (21 inches)
Displays everything. NO INTERLACE IN LACED MODES Only one drwaback: to display 320x256 corectly first you need to set 640x512 resolution, after that 320x256 will be fine |

Wow, that monitor looks really good! And a MVA panel to boot!
You connect it via VGA I suppose? What about 50Hz? Smoothie smoothie or choppy choppy like Dells? |

Ok, i have more info. It's more complicated and depends on exact model. Some supports only PAL/NTSC lo-res and doesn't accepts neither laced modes nor Super72/Multiscan/etc modes, some accepts all modes - it probably depends on firmware version. This exact model with blue screen should work with Amiga, other models with black or other random screen could not. But to be sure, if You can, best way is to check this before buying.

Anyone had issues with a Acer g276hl kbix? I bought a referbished unit and I'm not seeing any video on it. My 1084S died on me so I was trying to get this working with a newer monitor. Another monitor I have benq, at least says out of range when plugged in.

I have found the Dell P1917S (5:4 1280x1024 IPS 19") works with a 15Khz signal, I'm using the Commodore adapter. I haven't managed to tune out the clock/phase lines yet and it is a horrible mess in interlaced mode.

Working in industrial automation field I managed to "keep some days" some oldish displays now and then, many with VGAs, usually used as HMIs or for supervision. Nothing worked with Amiga.
The best image I got in 640x256, without using anything else than a simple DB23-VGA cable, is with a BL702A. LG M1717A also works with Amiga, but the image was not so good. Quite wavy and washed out |

Is there a North American equivalent to the BL702A? Or any other modern monitors that are available in North American that can do 15kHz?
Looking for recommendations. |

I don't know, I know that also the BL912 works, but never tried it. I bought a BL702A a year ago, but it was already quite difficult to find. I think they're being phased out. Of course beware of "marketplaces" offerings.. I saw some used ones on ebay Italy at 2x or more the original brand new price. |
